Dr. Michael Adams
Dr Michael Adams specialises in cosmetic dentistry, and is practically an artist when it comes to transforming your smile! Having work done by Dr Adams is akin to having a dental face lift. A perfectionist with his work, he’s a very kind, funny and caring person.
Tidbits: He has 3 gorgeous Dalmatians called Poppy, Pete and Johnny who he takes on walks along the beach every night! He also loves fishing in the Kimberleys (outback) every year, clay pigeon shooting, ex-racing car driver (back when he had hair!).
All in all, a great boss, and a fantastic dentist!
Dental Hygienist / Practice Manager
Susan is a passionate member of staff with plenty of vibrancy and energy when it comes to dental hygiene. Susan has 25 years specialist experience in teeth whitening, which has earned her the place as practice manager.
Tidbits: Susan is a passionate traveler, and has traveled to 38 countries and counting. Susan is the co-founder of Senyum International Charity; a charity in Bali that brings dentistry to underprivileged people in Indonesia and Australia. She also loves cooking, playing piano, and life-long learning (ask her about her NLP experience!).
Oh, and she also has a Thermomix (“I got mine first!”).
Dr Morgan Prpic is the newest dentist in the Adams Dental team. Dr Prpic is always dedicated to improving his patients’ oral health, from simple preventative dentistry, through to more complex cosmetic cases. Whatever your dental needs, he is happy to help!
Tidbits: Morgan loves to travel, more often than not to South Australia’s wine regions. In the Summer, he enjoys fishing at Brighton, or heading up to the river, but come Winter, it’s definitely a good book by the fireplace.
Karen has been working at Adam’s Dental for over 24 years (she started when she was 9). She specialises in children’s oral health and hygiene, teeth whitening, dental decay and also clinical photography; a very valuable staff member to have around!
Tidbits: Karen bakes the tastiest cupcakes when she’s not running her three beautiful children off to their various sports activities. Her current goals are to appear on the Biggest Bake-Off TV show, and is also currently working on running a marathon in the near future!
Deb has been a hygienist for 13 years and counting; she’s works in general dental care and also specialises in Periodontal (that’s gum disease).
Tidbits: Deb loves travelling to listen to dental seminars (she loves her job!) in exotic places; so far, she’s been to Africa, Scotland, Turkey, Italy, Spain and the Greek islands! She’s also part of our growing Thermomix team!
Senior Dental Assistant
Amanda has been with Adam’s Dental Practice for 5 years, and is our chief senior dental assistant. A fantastic person to work with , Amanda is a core member of the team.
Tidbits: Amanda has a parrot called Iargon, a German Sheppard called Taylor , and a Cocker Spaniel called Saffron Moonbeam (also known affectionately as Saffie). She also loves to read , fish, rock climb and also loves to play plenty of nerdy video games with her nerdy friends( think Big Bang theory!).
All in all, a big personality!
Front Office Coordinator Extraordinaire
Cassie has over 10 years of experience working and assisting in dental practices, and is a fantastic person to work with!
Tidbits: Cassie has 2 labradors called Cosby and Rowdy, as well as a kitten called Kitty Boo. Yes, another animal lover! She is crazy about her new toy, another Thermomix, and comes to work almost daily with a new healthy fabulous creation for us to taste.
Receptionist & Dental Assistant
Victoria, better known as Tori, has been a long-term patient at Adam’s Dental (yep, she trusts us!) along with her family since she was a young girl. She was quickly snatched up by us in her gap year at university, and we’ve hung onto her ever since!
Tidbits: Tori is now studying to become a primary school teacher, and loves to cheerlead for the Norwood football club!
Angela is a wonderful member of the team, and helps the whole practice run smoothly!
Tidbits: Angela has a Science degree with honours in cloning. She’s also a certified scuba diver, and loves to travel on sunny days and try new food. Her dream is to visit Latin America.
